Salsa Passion Thursday is where your weekend of great Salsa parties start! City Salsa Vibe invites you to grab some friends and come out to experience the complimentary lessons at the beginning of the night and then stay for the party. We make it fun and easy to meet new people and dance the night away. City Salsa Vibe has what you need. The doors open at 8:30 and we don’t stop the music until you stop dancing. Viva la Salsa!
Complimentary Lesson - Patrick of Dance Vancouver.ca teaches Beginner Merengue, Salsa and Intermediate Salsa. This Lesson is complimentary with cover.
Music - A CSV DJ heats up the floor with all your favourite Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Mambo and Cha-Cha-Cha.

Due to unforseen circumstances one of our celebrity performers got called to an audition out of the country and will not be able to make it on the night advertised. Party still continues, an amazing Hip Hop show will fill that spot and the Tango show by Arassay Reyes and Izaac Smith will take place on another night. Stay tuned for updates!

Richard O'Sullivan & Justine Redila
Show - Richard O Sullivan and Justine Redila of Dance Vancouver perform a Contemporary Hip Hop routine on our stage. With many feature film credits to his name and having worked with some of the industries top artists, Richard created this routine specifically for his new student and assistant, Justine. Come see what Richnrd and Justine can do in only a few short hours of practise.
Music Upper Level - A CSV DJ plays all your favourite Salsa, Mambo and Cha-Cha-Cha.
Music Lower Level - A CSV DJ breaks down all the best of Cuban Salsa, Salsaton, Reggaeton, Bachata and Merengue.

Beginner Cuban Salsa
Start date & time - Wednesday, July 8th, 6:30 p.m.
Duration of each class - 1 hour and a half (90 minutes)
Cost - $160 for 8 classes (cover included to Cuban Fiesta/Salsa Fusion Fridays).
Description - This will be your introduction to the world of Cuban Salsa and Afro-Latin-Caribbean rhythms. Classes generally start with a brief intro to some easy-to-dance rhythm, like Merengue, and then we quickly move on to the main focus: Salsa. You will learn the basic steps and turns, as well as some nice combinations.
Intermediate Cuban Salsa Level 1
Start date & time - Wednesday, July 8th, 8:00 pm.
Duration of each class - 1 hour and a half (90 minutes)
Cost - $160 for 8 classes (cover included to Cuban Fiesta/Salsa Fusion Fridays).
Description - The intermediate level focuses on widening your repertoire of combinations and perfecting your footwork. Classes are often taught in Salsa Rueda format (the exciting "circle dance").
Prerequiste: in order to join this course you must have completed a Beginner CUBAN Salsa course.

Salsa Beginners:
Starting July 10; 7:30-8:30pm Fridays (8 weeks, 8 hrs, $89.52 + GST). Location = Polish hall, 4015 Fraser St.
Flexible attendance/Double your classes (no extra charge): As we have more than one Salsa Beginners class running at the same time, once you've paid for one series, you can attend the other classes in the same and style and level for no extra charge; this gives you a great deal more flexibility and practice time.

Try a class/ No Risk Refund Policy: Pay the whole fee before the class begins. Then, if unhappy for any reason, including it's just not your thing, you're welcome to a refund right after the first class - minus the cost of one class (that's $12 for a one-hour class, $14 for an hour-and-a-quarter class). This refund is only available immediately after your first class, because we often have a waiting list of people who are eager to take your place for the second class. We do not give refunds for missed classes.
